The Satex Topper is a powerful residue cutter, primarily designed for chopping sunflower stalks, but equally effective on other crop residues. It is equipped with highly alloyed steel blades, providing excellent wear resistance and consistent cutting performance even under demanding conditions.

One of Topper’s key advantages is its refined and unique ground-following system. The machine accurately adapts to surface contours, ensuring uniform residue processing across the full working width. It can be operated either pulled behind the tractor or pushed via the front hydraulic linkage, offering exceptional operational flexibility.

Topper can be efficiently combined with other implements, such as mounting the Topper on the front and a short disc harrow or cultivator on the rear. This setup reduces the number of passes, saves fuel, and significantly increases field efficiency.

Cambridge – cast iron roller for effective soil consolidation

The Satex Cambridge roller is built from robust cast iron rings and mounted on the same heavy-duty frame as the Topper. As a result, it offers equally precise ground following and uniform soil consolidation.

The Cambridge roller is used to break clods, close the soil surface, and compact the seedbed. Its application improves seed-to-soil contact, promotes even crop emergence, and reduces moisture loss. It is especially beneficial before or after sowing, as well as following shallow tillage.

Modular system – one frame, two functions

One of the main advantages of the Satex system is its modular design. Since both implements are mounted on the same frame, customers can purchase the Topper and simply add Cambridge roller segments. Depending on requirements, the implement can be converted from Topper to Cambridge by removing just a few bolts – making it a fast, simple, and cost-effective solution.
